A Chunk of Lava is an item which can be found as a drop from certain enemies or bought from a blacksmith. It can be forged into a damage converter slot to add Fire damage to melee or ranged weapons. This will also increase the Chance for inflicting Burn on enemies when they are hit by the weapon. |
Visual Effects
When a weapon is socketed with a Chunk of Lava, the weapon icon turns orange. Melee and some ranged weapons become surrounded by animated flames, and projectiles fired from Energy Weapons and Magic Staves become like fireballs.
