Usage Strategies

  • The Impatience gold modification decreases the cooldown to 40 seconds, and does not scale. The Delay silver modification extends duration based on the Combat Art level. With the Delay (increase duration) and Impatience (decrease cooldown) modifications, the duration matches the cooldown at CA level 67 and once pushed past cooldown + regeneration time, it can be maintained indefinitely.
  • Duration above 45-50 seconds is rather difficult to achieve because of the Maximum Spell Level Without Penalty effects and diminishing returns, so this Combat Art needs to be recast very often.
  • Note that, like all CA's in the Exalted Warrior aspect, casting speed is determined by weapon speed, and can be boosted by weapon lore skills and +% attack speed. Likewise, the casting speed will be penalized by wielding a weapon with too high a level.

Pros and Cons

  • Increases attack, casting and run speed by a large amount, which at early levels especially is very useful
  • Allows the player to neglect certain stats on gear like run speed, attack speed or casting speed.

  • Has to be recast often to maintain optimal effect.

Stats Chart

  • Duration is 20 + 0.1*CA-Lvl seconds and 30 + 0.15*CA-Lvl seconds with Delay.
