Damage Done:

Weak against:

The Hitpoints, Chance to hit, Damage and Armor noted above of the Dark Seraphim are dependent on the level of the Dark Seraphim. Stats will scale based on the Dark Seraphim's level. Use the above stats as a guideline.

Location

The Dark Seraphim replaces the Black Seraphim as the main antagonist of the Class Chain Quest of the Paladin in Diablo 2 Fallen. She will appear several times throughout the quest, and will be a boss opponent in the final phase, The Beginning of the End. The fight occurs in a cave just northwest of Sonnenwind.

Battle Notes

  • Racial Type: Human
  • The original Black Seraphim didn't use any special abilities or even a weapon. The Dark Seraphim, however, wields the Soulflay Fork and has numerous deadly powers.
  • Special Abilities:
    • Energy Shield - an energy shield buff that you must destroy before you can begin to deplete the Dark Seraphim's hitpoints. There is a modifier called Energy Shield Absorption (opponent) -X% that is made considerably more powerful in D2F and can cut through an energy shield in one hit.
    • Berserk Bleeding Hit - a deadly attack, this is a melee hard hit that has a good chance to cause Open Wounds. It also inflicts life leech damage and has a small chance to stun you.
    • Archangel's Wrath - like the Seraphim's combat art of the same name, this launches a blue projectile that converts physical weapon damage to fire. It is a homing missile so it is almost impossible to dodge.
    • Summon Burning Dead - this spell summons a single elite Burning Dead to aid the Dark Seraphim. It only has a 10 second cooldown so she will summon more quite often, but the skeletons are fairly easy to defeat and don't pose much of a threat.

  • The Dark Seraphim's design is loosely adapted from the Demon Hunter character from the game Diablo 3.
