- This item is the Dragon Mage's reward for completing The Spirit of Atherton quest, which starts in the city of Griffinborough in Artamark.
- The Dragon Mage's version of this item was added to the game with the Community Patch v130. Without the CM Patch, the other 6 characters still receive their own version of the bracers, but the Dragon Mage would not.
