Talk to Erris to learn her cat has run away - she'd like you to find it and bring it back.

Head West out of the house and across the field. Keep going West until you meet a track heading North/South. Follow this South until it turns East over a river; turn Southwest here and keep going until you reach a small cemetery. Tári is standing near the unidentifiable statue. Talk to the cat and it will join you as a hireling.
