Sacred:Closed Internet

Closed Internet Multiplayer games in Sacred are those games played over the internet, and hosted by Ascaron's servers.

All players' characters in these games are stored on the host server – not on the players' individual computers. This provides greater security and protection from certain undesired and potentially harmful actions.

Other forms of Multiplayer are LAN and Open Internet.
