Griffinborough is situated on the East-Skookemchuck river and is the largest town in the Artamark Region. A player will most likely visit Griffinborough as they progress through the Main Campaign Chain quest. Just north of town is the Royal Honky-Tonk Tavern where players will either speak to the Tavern Keeper (Light Campaign) or talk to and possibly fight the Gambling Den Owner Boss (Shadow Campaign).

Enemies

Players may encounter Rats if they descend into the sewers or try to compete the Hunt for Rats quest. As well,Zombies may be encountered by opening the graves on the cemetery. Aside from these enemies, only a few other quest enemies may be found within the city.

Outside, however, any traveler who goes outside the city gates would encounter numerous Assassins, Brigand Leaders and Slave Outcasts. There are also a large number of Timberwolves, Black Bears and Tuskers in the forests around the city.

Heraldry

Griffinborough is the center of Artamark and so the flags and colors displayed here represent a variety of baronies and places in the region. The player will primarily see the blue and gold flag of Artamark. Soldiers wearing either DeMordrey's or Urtamark's coat-of-arms will be found here as well.
