• Racial Type: Insect
• The elite Spitting Spider texture was designed by Ascaron but was never used until it was enabled for D2F.

Special Abilities:

• Venom Spit - a toxic venom spray that causes physical damage and poison DOT. This infamous attack is actually nerfed compared to the vanilla game, but it can still be quite deadly if the player is hit several times.
• Poison Hard Hit (elites only) - a melee hard hit attack with boosted damage and attack rating. It also causes extra poison damage with a +35% Chance for Poison. You can see a green venom spray when they use it.
