Skills and Attributes

The following skills and attributes will affect this combat art:

Usage Strategies

  • Overall a good attack for quickly taking down enemies with high HP (especially if the Bleed and Lacerate modifications are used).
  • When using the skill Dual Wield, the Inquisitor will attack with both weapons when using Callous Execution.
  • Due to its inherently low regeneration time and fast attack animation, the Inquisitor can generally rely upon Callous Execution in almost any situation.
  • Can also be used to utterly obliterate an opponent if the Inquisitor's HP is low and he has the buff Purifying Chastisement turned on.

Combo Recommendations

  • Performs well in a combo following Ruthless Mutilation; after Ruthless Mutilation, the Inquisitor will attack any of the surviving enemies.
  • Also performs well in a combo before or after Mortifying Pillory (especially if both use the modifications that effect the opponent's armor, defense and life).
  • Combines surprisingly well in a combo following Inexorable Subjugation; this can help the Inquisitor quickly build up an army of ghosts.
  • Advanced Combo: For tough enemies (I.E. Bosses , Giant Green Scorpions , etc),
  1. The Inquisitor can first use a combo consisting of Mortifying Pillory and Dislodged Spirit.
  2. This will significantly weaken an opponent (especially if Mortifying Pillory is modified to reduce the armor value of the opponent), as well as cause other enemies nearby to start attacking the opponent.
  3. Finally, the Inquisitor should use Callous Execution (or the previously mentioned combo that includes Ruthless Mutilation).

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Very high damage attack.
  • Fast attack animation.
  • Low regeneration time.
  • Can be used from a distance with long ranged weapons.
  • An attractive look when using swords and Dual wield.

Cons

  • Can target only one opponent, regardless of modifications.
  • The only exception to this rule is if an Inquisitor is using "Dual Wield"
  • The Inquisitor will hit a nearby second opponent if he kills his first opponent with the first weapon.
  • It has the potential to miss.
