Accepting Quests

  • Although I'm certaintly underemployed with this job, I'll accept it.
  • Consider the quest as good as completed.
  • Don't despair, I'll carry out your mission for you.
  • I accept the mission.
  • I think I'll take the mission on.
  • I won't let you down.
  • I'll be pleased to comply with your request.
  • Never fear, I'll manage it.
  • That's a job for my taste.
  • What a challenge!
  • You may safely assume that I'll complete this mission.

Entering A New Region

  • Could it be that this region is less than challenging for me?
  • Ha, the opponents here rush for me like women. Hopeless, but brave.
  • I fear that this region is too dangerous for me.
  • My senses tell me I'll have to use great caution in this region.

End of Act 1 where Wilbur dies

  • Rest In Peace. I've really enjoyed it.

Entering Towns

  • After my adventures, I can see myself settling down in this city.
  • At last a town in which I can sit down without having to change my clothes.
  • But will the village people be able to repay me properly?
  • Finally, I'm in a city again. I'm looking forward to a nice soft bed, good food and interesting conversation.
  • If anyone dares touch me on that very spot then I'll, hmm, bless them with the art of diplomacy, YES, of magic diplomacy!
  • Interesting architecture. Wonder where I can get the same architect to build my own tower.
  • Oh, how I detest this country smell.
  • The narrow-minded farmers are easily deceived by charlatans…
  • This city looks promising. There should be interesting quests to be done here.
  • What's brought me to this? Traveling from village to village?

Finishing Quests

  • I know for certain that I'm in the right place.
  • If my client informed me correctly, the target area should be right here.
  • No doubt about it, the place I'm looking for is very close now.
  • The end of my quest must be in this area.
  • The goal of my mission is very close now.
  • The goal of this quest must be somewhere very close.

Flashing Health Warning

  • As they fall into the forest.
  • How dare you?
  • I can stand all kinds of pain.
  • That won't hurt me either.
  • You can not kill me.

In Combat

  • Ahhhh!
  • And now it's curtains for you.
  • And the next!
  • Band of thieves!
  • Bite the dust!
  • Come back here! I won't hurt you, well that's a lie, but...
  • Die!
  • Don't annoy me!
  • Fascinating!
  • Feel my rage!
  • Goblineater!
  • Ha, the opponents here rush for me like women, hopeless, but brave.
  • HaHaHa! Greet the others for me, I'll get you later.
  • Hey, stay here you're spoiling my quota.
  • Hey, you can't do that.
  • I don't recognize your leadership qualities.
  • I don't recognize your qualities, where did you study at?
  • I eat your kind for breakfast, pureed in season with a pinch of salt, now BEGONE!
  • I use your kind to wipe the floor with, leader.
  • I'll show you how a leader of your caliber is no match for me.
  • I'm not protected against normal damage.
  • I'm really good!
  • I'm too old for this nonsense.
  • Interesting!
  • Murderous rat!
  • No fear, You're not lost, I'll lose your head as a doorstop.
  • Oh, you're already dead.
  • Oh, you're bleeding.
  • Orc dog!
  • Orc rat!
  • People don't make jokes about magicians.
  • Rateater, Come back.
  • Shall I call for a wet nurse?
  • Sliceable!
  • Thank me for your quick death.
  • That was much too simple.
  • The creatures in this region are almost immune to fire.
  • The madness is driving me wrong.
  • There's noone to measure myself against here.
  • This is just the beginning.
  • This is your end.
  • This really is no challenge at all.
  • Vagabond!
  • Vermin!
  • Very subtle.
  • Yeah!
  • Yeah, go on and run, you rat.
  • You beastial creature.
  • You don't seem anything special to me, where did you study?

Inventory Being Full

  • Do I look like a mule?
  • Even if I wanted to, I can't carry this item anymore.
  • I can't carry anymore.
  • I can't put anything else into the backpack.
  • I have to clear out my backpack.
  • I'm an academic, not a pack mule.
  • I'm overloaded. I really can't take anymore.
  • No more room.
  • That's it, no more. I can't store this item as well.
  • Time to do a clearout.
  • What can I say, my backpack is full.

Items He Can't Use

  • As a magician, I have not even the slightest use for this item.
  • I don't have the faintest idea how or above all why I should use this object.
  • I really can't make use of that.
  • No, no, and once again no, I can not and will not use this object!
  • This is not for me.

Items He Can't Use Yet

  • I must gain more experience before I can use this piece of equipment.
  • I would only be too pleased to utilize this item, but it will be a while before I'm able to.
  • It's too bad that I'm not able to use this yet.
  • My capabilities are not sufficient yet.
  • This item is too much for me at present.
  • Unfortunately, I can't use this yet.
  • Unfortunately, my experience is not great enough yet to make sensible use of this.

Rejecting Quests

  • Forget it.
  • I can only decline your request.
  • I really can't sacrifice my valuable time for this.
  • I'm sure you'll understand that I can not accept a quest of this type.
  • I've got no time for that.
  • Later, perhaps.
  • No, it's completely out of the question.
  • Not interested.
  • Oh, please! Did you honestly think that I would accept a mission of this kind?
  • Unfortunately, I can't fulfill your wishes.
  • Why should I want to do it?

Seargeant Treville At Porto Vallum

  • Me? Alone? Shouldn't there be...Ok, I'm going.

Standing Still

  • Do I play on my own then?
  • Get a move on!
  • Good Morning, Mr. Anderson.
  • Great! Have you fallen asleep?
  • Hello? HELLO??? Is there somebody there? Is there something going on here?
  • Hey!
  • Hurry up! I've got other things to do today.
  • Oh great, I could've picked up a couple of Orcs to beat up.
  • On the other side of the screen, everything seems so simple.
  • Personally, I find it very disappointing standing around here for so long doing nothing.
  • Super, I must remember to shake my opponents then I'll have more fun or perhaps I should carry a good book to read.
  • Wonder why there's a pause mode at all. Gods of Ancaria must have intended it for some purpose.
  • What are you waiting on? Christmas? Ye gods! Now I sound like the DUKE!
