Well, looks like the Master Conjuror decided that he ranted enough in the previous part of the chain, so now he finally starts to explain you some things about what's going on. While talking to him in the beginning of the current quest, you'd get a qualified consultation about the Summoning and Invocation Rituals, their similarities and differences... in other words, you'd get an opportunity to know all you wanted to know about the Ritual these conjurors are preparing, and maybe even more.
But the Master Conjuror also makes you understand that he would need some more ingridients to perform an Invocation properly. And these ones are not as simple to find as the ones you've already brought him.
