Talk to Alchemist Geroda to learn he needs 5 mana stones for his experiments.
Find mana stones for Geroda!
Hey you, come over here! I have a small task for you. I've run out of reagents and I urgently require some more mana stones. Unfortunately I cannot leave the laboratory because of my ongoing experiments. Would you like to earn some gold? Then get me five mana stones from the goblin charlatans. You'll find them not far away from here. They're practically everywhere.
Although Alchemist Geroda calls them ‘Goblin’ charlatans, the enemies you need to kill are actually ‘Kobold’ charlatans, a special enemy spawned only for this quest. Head south from the quest giver and then east through the city’s east gate. Now head southeast towards a dungeon entrance – the Kobold Charlatans (along with some Kobold Warriors) can be found in this area. Kill the five Kobold Charlatans (you don’t have to kill the warriors unless you want/need to) and pick up the Mana Stones they drop.
When you have all five stones you can return to Alchemist Geroda for your reward.
You can then talk to him again for the next quest in this chain, Ghost Energy.
