Usage Strategies

Better to take the damage upgrade than armor, since when you eat runes, your hireling raises levels of himself, and he's strong enough for even bosses without this armor upgrade. :) Later go Elevation and Fury

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • More damage to mobs never hurts :)
  • ...

Cons

  • You have to eat many runes to make it powerful
  • Sometimes when you enter caves the pet will stop where it spawns and need to be re-summoned to get it to move and attack, leaving and reentering the cave again sometimes fixes this.
