On the northeast corner of Artamark's Gate there sits a rather large, cone shaped hill with a cave entrance on the south side. This is the cemetary for Artamark's Gate. There are a total of 8 graves inside, with two gargoyles and one sarcophagus. It's the site of a quest called Revenge!

Graves

  • Never name a hellhound 'Fido'.
  • That toadstool omlet didn't work out.
  • Of course I don't look busy - I'm dead.
  • This would be funny if it hadn't happened to me.
  • You'll just have to trust me... Gargoyles don't have a sense of humor.
  • The attack of the killer tomatoes was nothing, it was the attack of the evil peas that did me in.
  • Mortality caught up to Mortaneous
  • Here lie Hansel and Gretel, who perished after getting lost in the Ghost Cave.

Gargoyles

  • In honor of the Spatula of Eternal Uberness - long may it flip.
  • Help stamp out, eliminate and abolish redundancy!

Notes

There's an Easter Egg or two hidden among the grave markers here.

There was a rather bad movie called "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" (1978) which has gone on to become a cult classic movie. This is one of those movies that's so terrible you just have to laugh at the poor production quality, lack of professional special effects and the general look to the movie that makes you think they were operating on a budget of about $50 USD when it was made.

The other Easter Egg here is the mention of Hansel and Gretel, stars of the classic Hans Christian Anderson children's book. Oddly, there was no Ghost Cave in that story.
