Quick Walkthrough
- Go to Ruka
- Talk to Lupus Coldhand
- Go to the Grotto of Death cavern
- Kill the critters inside
- Retrieve the Hunter's Amulet
- Return to Lupus Coldhand
Detailed Walkthrough
As in the Light version of this quest, you take a trip to the capital city and talk to the Master Hunter there. If you're playing the Shadow campaign, that would be the one in Ruka. He tells you that he will relinquish the title of Master Hunter only if you can go into the Grotto of Death, retrieve the amulet he stashed there many years ago and return in relatively one piece.
Oddly enough, the Grotto of Death cave is the same one used in both campaigns. The amulet in question is identical in both quests and is in the same place - the back of the cave.
When you return to Ruka and talk to Lupus, the next portion of this quest will begin.
Logbook Entry
Notes
The quest indicator for this quest initially points to a cave entrance on the mound in the center of Ruka. However, the quest indicator will point to the correct location once you've gone out the west entrance to the city.
