The Windswept Fortress is located in the central Wastelands: The Great Machine region. It was once considered an impregnable fortress until the Great Wars swept a river of agony upon the brave defenders. The battles must have been some of the biggest and most fierce during the course of war. There are dragon skeletons littered all about the fortress. One can just imagine the terrible energy and magic needed to bring down one of these majestic creatures, let alone dozens of them. The region is in strife again as Nimonuil's guards try to wrest control of the area from the High Elf soldiers

Transportation
Portal and monolith in the fortress. Otherwise use the boat, portal or monolith at Wastelands Coast and head north past the Fortress of The Storms to reach the Windswept Fortress.
Enemies
You'll encounter Nimonuil's Guards, Demons and Flying Demons in the area.
