Quick Walkthrough
Head all the way South to the Resurrection Monument near the beach. Follow the coastline East until you reach a house with several turtles and many pirates wandering around. Go North up to the house and speak to Lahrian. Return to Malte for your reward.
Detailed Walkthrough
Head all the way South to the Resurrection Monument near the beach, or teleport to it using F12 (default) if it is your active Resurrection Monument. Follow the coastline East until you reach a large house - there are several turtles and a larger number of pirates wandering around. Head to the house and talk to Lahrian to find out what's wrong. Return to Malte for your reward.
You can now speak to Lahrian again to pick up the quest Desperately Seeking Golem
Logbook Entry
Malte the Merchant would like me to visit Lahrian the Mage to make sure that nothing bad has happened to him. His Golem has not been coming into town as he usually does, and Malte is concerned about Lahrian’s well-being. The magician’s hut is southwest of here. Apparently it is quite a distance to travel, but I always wanted to visit the western part of this region anyway.
Evidently Lahrian is doing well.
Malte was relieved to hear that Lahrian is doing just fine. He promised me special discounts on his wares from now on as a sign of his appreciation.
Notes
- Tip: Having the Golden Coast Resurrection Monument active can save you having to run all the way back down to the coast to check up on Lahrian...unfortunately you'll still have to run back up to get your reward.
- Note: Although you have to complete this quest in order to access the quest Desperately Seeking Golem, the two quests are not part of a chain (according to the logbook).
- Note: Malte promises you discounts on his wares, yet his is not, himself, an interactive merchant...
