Detailed Walkthrough

Talk to Bacalio to learn that his father has been wrongfully imprisoned so the Inquisition could seize his estate.

Head Northwest from Bacalio towards the personal chest. From the chest head North, and then turn East and follow the stepping-stone path that leads to the Temple of the Gods. Leave the path and head Northeast between the Temple and the Inquisition Headquarters until you reach the prison entrance.

As you approach a ? will appear over the head of the guard on the left. Talk to him and then kill them both.

Head into the prison. There are a mix of rats, guards and guard dogs between you and Bacalio’s father. It is worth killing them all before you talk to him, as it makes escorting him out somewhat easier.

Talk to Bacalio’s father and then lead him out of the prison.

Kill the guard dog and the two guards who are waiting for you outside, then head down the hill. Near the bottom the quest will update and Bacalio’s father will gain an exclamation mark (!) over his head. Talk to him to complete the quest and receive your reward.
