Gareth is willing to give you some information on the band of thieves you are searching for. If you help him out first. Seems he's only got one eye - occupational hazards according to him - and is waiting for a replacement. He wants you to go to Head Eye-Mechanic Nimble and get it for him (and pay for it too). He says once he has his eye he'll be more than happy to help you out in return.
