-. -.

Soldiers of Griffinborough are usually guarding a big castle of this city from thieves and other outcasts. But this time they have to guard the castle from the rats, who became extremely multiple and annoying recently. But for a real Soldier it doesn't really matter whether an enemy has two or four legs, so all five Soldiers of Griffinborough would join your character and Guard Jones in your anti-rat crusade.

Location

Quests

  • Soldiers of Griffinborough are hirelings that will accompany you in the Hunt for Rats quest.
-. -.

A Hireling

While completing the Hunt for Rats quest, you'd have to fight together with Guard Jones and five Soldiers of Griffinborough. On the left you can see a picture of two Soldiers of Griffinborough together, standing next to the main building of the castle right after the quest completion.
All Soldiers of Griffinboroug behave similarly. Below you can find their description as hirelings. See a description of Guard Jones on his respective page.

  • These Soldiers supposedly are mortal NPCs. They definitely would be hurt if hit, and probably would die if not healed. However, they kill target enemies effectively and because of that nobody of the Soldiers died during the test runs of the quest.
  • All of them are fighting hirelings. However, they will only fight against target quest enemies and ignore all the others.
  • They all are close combat fighters equipped with one-handed sword.
  • Quest enemies can hit these Soldiers. All other enemies simply ignore them.

Notes

  • These Soldiers appear only after you talk to Guard Jones and accept his quest.
  • Since the quest was added to the game with the Community Patch, Guard Jones and the Soldiers of Griffinborough won't appear if you don't have the patch installed.
  • After the quest completion they seems either to stay wherever they were when you finished the quest, or staying outside the biulding where the quest took place.
