Damage Done:

Weak against:

The Hitpoints, Chance to hit, Damage and Armor noted above of Sszark the Burning are dependent on the level of Sszark the Burning. Stats will scale based on Sszark the Burning's level. Use the above stats as a guideline.

Location

  • Sszark the Burning is found in the Bengaresh Desert, roaming the sand dunes near the center of the desert, east of Khorum. There are no settlements nearby. The nearest landmark is a small T-Energy puddle. Sszark the Burning is just south of it.

Battle Notes

  • Sszark the Burning uses an inactive creature design discovered in the game files called a Gargantura. Smaller, normal-class enemies of this type can also be found in the Cursed Forest.
  • This boss battle should not be too difficult since it takes place in the wide-open spaces of the desert. There are likely to be many other enemies around however, including Stone Men, Scorpions, Mummies, and Flame Sprites.
  • Sszark the Burning has 2 buffs and 2 special attacks that he uses:
    • Fireshield - red flame buff similar in appearance to Holy Fire. This buff protects Sszark the Burning and any other nearby enemies from fire to the point of near-immunity.
    • Flameskin - an orange fire buff similar in appearance to Warmth. This temporary buff blocks projectiles and causes pulses of fire damage to you. It only lasts 10s with a cooldown of 30s, so squishy characters may want to stay well out of melee range while Flameskin is active.
    • Web - a spider web projectile that roots you in place and debuffs your attack speed for 5 seconds. Causes no damage.
    • Berserk Bleeding Hit - by far the most deadly attack, this is a melee hard hit that has a good chance to cause Open Wounds. It also inflicts life leech damage and has a small chance to stun you.
