Sacred 2:Dim Vision

Damning an enemy to the darkness of their own evil, this curse surrounds the afflicted in a cloud of perfect darkness and silence, blinding them. This is a Spell Damage Based Combat Art. Aspect - Curses Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Damage: 3-3 Magic Reduce Enemy Attack Rating: 90 + 10 per level Reduce Enemy Attack Speed: 50% + 10% per level Disarms the Target Duration: 10.0s + 0.05 s per level Regeneration Time: 4.0 seconds Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Terror - Good chance to send enemies running away in fear (80% + 0.5% per level). Gloom - Dim Vision duration lasts longer (5.0s + 0.02s per level). Silver Life Tap - Leeches life from the target to restore the Necromancer's hitpoints (8 + 5 per level life leeched per hit). Stupefy - Adds a chance to stun the target (44.9% + 0.1% per level chance). Gold Obscure - Dim Vision also reduces the target's defense rating by 90 + 20 per level. Hex - Adds magic damage over time (40 + 30 per level).

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Curses Lore - improves combat art damage (including life leech from Life Tap mod), critical chance and casting speed, allows for modification points.

• Curses Focus - reduces regeneration time and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• Concentration - directly improves regeneration time

• Ancient Magic - directly improves combat art damage and lowers opponents' resistance to its damage

• Combat Discipline - will increase the damage of this combat art and lower its regeneration time if it is placed in a combo.

• Damage Lore - will improve the chance, duration, and strength of Weaken (secondary damage effect) triggered by Dim Vision's magic damage.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Intelligence will increase its damage and spell intensity

• Stamina will lower regeneration time

Usage Strategies

• This curse is useful against any opponents. It significantly cripples the enemy's offensive capabilities.

• The disarming property of Dim Vision removes weapons from enemy hands, so they fight barehanded. This is useful because many enemies have skills that boost their proficiency with their weapons, so when they are disarmed they lose the benefits of those skills. This not only lowers their damage but also lowers their attack speed and chance to hit even further.

• Dim Vision is not meant to have killing power all on its own, but the damage potential can be improved by taking the Life Tap and Hex modifications, as well as boosting skills like Curses Lore and Ancient Magic. Casting Lower Resist will also make enemies more susceptible to the magic damage.
