About the Set

  • From strange, far lands comes a small collection of artifacts pillaged from ancient tombs.
    • The Parashu is an Indian battle-axe, known as the most lethal close combat weapons of the epics. It is also one of the weapons of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga and is still depicted on their idols throughout India. Shiva gave it to Parashurama and also taught him the mastery of this weapon's supernatural powers. In his anger, Parashurama used the parashu to get rid of the all the Earth's tyrannical kshatriya (warrior class) twenty one times over.
    • According to ancient sources, Amazon tombs could be found frequently throughout what was once known as the ancient Greek world. Some are found in Megara, Athens, Chalcis, Thessaly, and statues of Amazons are all over Greece. In historical times Greek maidens of Ephesus performed an annual circular dance with weapons and shields that had been established by Hippolyta and her Amazons.
    • The djed hieroglyph was a pillar-like symbol that represented stability. It was also sometimes used to represent Osiris himself. The djed pillar was often used as amulets for the living and the dead. It was placed as an amulet near the spines of mummified bodies, which was supposed to ensure the resurrection of the dead, allowing the deceased to live eternally.

The Set Bonuses

These bonuses are dependent on character level and game difficulty. As the character levels up the Set Bonus will increase on a per level basis. In some cases there will be no change in stats from one level to another. This is because some stats increase at a fraction per level up. The server difficulty being played on will also have an effect on the Set Bonuses. For example a character's Set Bonuses will be higher in Niobium difficulty than any other difficulty.
